This book is in very good condition. Minor surface wear to the original cloth boards. Spine is sun faded. Front hinge is cracked at the title page. Minor tear at the bottom of the title page. No previous ownership names or bookplates.
"East of Eden" is the story of two families, the Trask's and the Hamilton's, and their interwoven stories. The novel is regarded by many to be Steinbeck's most ambitious novel and by Steinbeck himself to be his magnum opus.
