This book is in good condition. Cloth worn through at the spine ends and corners. Foxing visible on the green cloth and the endsheets. Previous owner's name crossed out in red colored pencil at the top of the front endpaper. Spine and textblocked curved inward or bowed. Binding slanted or cocked with an overbite.
"To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee was instantly successful upon publication in 1960. The plot and characters are loosely based on Lee's observations of her family, her neighbors, and an event that occurred near her hometown of Monroeville, Alabama in 1936 when she was 10.
