The book is in very good plus condition. Minor wear to the board edges. Gilt titling very bright and well preserved. Christmas gift tag on the front endpaper. Previous owner's name at the top of the front pastedown. The original dust jacket is in very good condition. Price-clipped. Minor chipping, creasing and tearing visible at the spine ends and corners. Staining visible on the rear panel.

"The Fountainhead" is written by Russian-American author Ayn Rand and was her first major literary success. The novel's protagonist Howard Roark is an intransigent young architect who battles against conventional standards and refuses to compromise with an establishment unwilling to accept innovation.
