First edition, first printing - with "First Edition" stated on the copyright page and the Q37 gutter code present on the final page of text. Signed by the author Stephen King on a First Day of Issue postal envelope, which has been affixed to the front pastedown. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from JSA (James Spence Authentication). The original dust jacket is clipped but still has a $7.95 price, and mentions Father Cody on the front flap. Housed in a wonderful custom clamshell box. Measuring approximately 8.25" x 5.5", with 439 numbered pages.
This book is in good plus condition. Moderate wear to the edges of the boards. There is a one inch stain at the top of the rear board. The Q37 gutter code is damaged and has been taped by a previous owner. The dust jacket is also in good plus condition. Moderate edgewear and creasing to the panels. Small chip at the lower front panel and lower front flap.
