Despite the "W" on the copyright page, this is not a book club edition since there is no dot/circle present on the lower rear board. Comes with its original matching Eleventh Printing dust jacket, which retains its original $3.95 price on the front flap. The book measures approximately 8.25" x 5.5", with 296 numbered pages.
This book is in very good condition. Binding is sound and well preserved. Previous owner's name in pen at the top of the front endpaper. Otherwise the interior pages are clean and well preserved. The original dust jacket is in very good minus condition. Moderate chipping and creasing to the extremities.
"To Kill a Mockingbird" was instantly successful upon publication in 1960. The plot and characters are loosely based on Lee's observations of her family, her neighbors and an event that occurred near her hometown of Monroeville, Alabama in 1936 when she was 10.
