The book is in very good plus condition. Illustrations on front board and spine are very well preserved. Spine darkened with age. Bottom of spine and lower rear board have minor white staining present. Textblock is in excellent condition, no previous ownership marks or bookplates present.

Huckleberry Finn is noted for "changing the course of children's literature" in the US for the "deeply felt portrayal of boyhood". Set in a Southern antebellum society the story is told from the point of view of Huck Finn - a teen who faces an adventurous journey down the Mississippi River together with a runaway slave named Jim.
