The book is in very good plus condition. Gilt lettering and decorations on the spine and front board are bright and well preserved. Sunfading at the edges. Textblock is bright and clean. The dust jacket is in very good condition. Moderate sun-fading to the spine. Minor wear and creasing at the extremities, most noticeable at the spine ends. Original $2.75 price is present on the front flap.
"Green Hills of Africa" is Hemingway's second work of nonfiction. This book is an account of a month on safari he and his wife took in East Africa during December 1933. It is divided into four parts: "Pursuit and Conversation", "Pursuit Remembered", "Pursuit and Failure", and "Pursuit as Happiness", each playing a vital role in the story.
