This book is in very good condition. Minor wear and staining to the black cloth boards. Previous owner's signature on the front endpaper. Interior pages are otherwise clean. Dust jacket is in very good condition Moderate wear and creasing to the extremities. Horizontal crease across the entire jacket, from being folded in half.

About one million copies of The Catcher and the Rye are sold every year. The novel was included on Time's 2005 list of the 100 best English-language novels written since 1923.
