New York: Belford, Clarke & Co;, 1887. Measuring approximately 9.25" x 6.75" with 580 numbered pages. This is George M Bassett's copy. He fought in the Civil War in the 21st NY Infantry, Company C. He was wounded in the Battle of Antietam.
This book is in good minus condition. Heavy bumping and tearing to both ends of spine. Heavy chipping to all edges of boards. Gilt lettering and design on spine and front board still vivid. HInges cracked but no mesh is exposed. Library markings on spine, all edges of textblock, and pastedowns.
