These volumes are in good minus condition. Moderate chipping and bumping to spine and edges of boards. Hinges are cracked but no mesh exposed. Gilt lettering and design on spine and front boards still full and vivid. Library markings on spine and both pastedowns. Interior pages are clean.
Napoleon's exile on Elba—an island in the Tyrrhenian Sea just 10 miles from the Italian mainland—lasted from May 1814 to March 1815.
