This book is in good minus condition. Moderate bumping and sunning to both ends of spine. Previous owner's address stamp on front endpaper. Both hinges are cracked no mesh exposed. Interior pages have annotation by previous owner in pen and pencil throughout textblock. Dust jacket is in poor condition. Moderate bumping and chipping to all edges of jacket. Tape on bottom edge and verso of jacket. "Fourth Edition" and original 3.95 price on front flap .

Through the Valley of the Kwai (also published under the titles Miracle on the River Kwai and To End All Wars[1]) is the autobiography of the Scottish captain Ernest Gordon, and recounts the experiences of faith and hope of the men held in a Japanese prisoner of war labour camp, building the Burma Railway during World War II.
