These books are in good minus condition. Heavy chipping to both ends of spine with closed tears and ex-library markings. Moderate scuffing to both boards. All hinges are cracked. Ex-library markings on both front and rear pastedowns. Interior pages are mostly clean.
William Erskine (1773-1852) was a Scottish-born scholar and administrator who held a variety of posts in India between 1804 and 1823.
