This book is in very good minus condition. Moderate staining to the edges of the textblock. Both hinges are cracked but the binding is still tight. Binding is slightly cocked. Front endpaper has minor paper damage and pencil markings. Interior pages are otherwise clean. Dust jacket is in good plus condition. Moderate paper loss to the top of the spine and top edge of the front panel. Moderate sun fading. Price clipped with "sixth printing" at the bottom of front flap.
Set during the Great Depression, the novel focuses on the Joads, a poor family of tenant farmers driven from their Oklahoma home by drought, economic hardship, agricultural industry changes, and bank foreclosures forcing tenant farmers out of work.
