This book is in good plus condition. Moderate bumping and chipping to both ends of spine. Gilt lettering and design on spine and front board still full and vivid. Minor sunning to bottom and foredge of textblock. Top edge of textblock gilt. Rear hinge is cracked making back pages loose from binding but still intact. Interior pages are clean. Bottom of page 33 is sticking out of textblock and slightly chipped.
Oliver Twist unromantically portrays the sordid lives of criminals and exposes the cruel treatment of the many orphans in London in the mid-19th century.
