This book is in good minus condition. Moderate bumping to both ends of spine. Heavy scuffing and staining to spine and bot boards. Moderate chipping to all corners of boards. Previous owner's signature on front endpaper. Rear hinge cracked exposing mesh. Minor staining to interior pages.

Tom Canty, the youngest son of a very poor family living in Offal Court located in London, has been abused by his father and grandmother, but is encouraged by the local priest, who taught him to read and write.
