The dust jacket is in good condition. Moderate wear to the panels and spine with a large chip missing from the top corner of the front panel. Moderate chips, tears,and scratches to the spine and rear panel. The book is in good condition. The navy blue boards are well preserved with minor discoloration at the bottom edges. The front endpaper is adhered to the half-title page at the hinge. Foxing to the fore-edges of the textblock.

"The Big Book", as it was formerly known, was written by Bill W. and Dr. Bob. The book contains the " Twelve Step" method to overcoming addiction, not just alcohol, but also drugs, gambling, overeating, and the like. This edition also contains the new chapter "Women Suffer Too", since previously AA was strictly a membership of men. A rare copy of one of the most important and influential self-help books ever written.
