This book is in good minus condition. Minor bumping to both ends of spine. Gilt lettering on spine is full and vivid. Front hinge is cracked exposing mesh on front pastedown. Frontispiece is loose from binding. Rear hinge is cracked exposing mesh. Dust jacket is in fair condition. Heavy chipping to both ends of spine and around all edges. Large open tear to top edge of front panel. Piece of tape on rear panel at top edge.
"Seven Pillars of Wisdom" is the autobiographical account of the experiences of British Army Colonel T.E. Lawrence ("Lawrence of Arabia") during the Arab Revolt of 1916-1918. This book had to be rewritten three times, once after the loss of the manuscript on a train at Reading railway station.
