This book is in very good condition. Minor bumping to both ends of spine. Gilt lettering on spine and boards still full and vivid. Boards are partially marbled. Front gutter is cracked. Heavy foxing to all edges of textblock. Front hinge cracked. Previous owner's book plate on front pastedown. Book plate belonged to an Edward Lord Suffield who appeared to be a British liberal politician. Moderate foxing throughout interior pages.
