This book is in good plus condition. Moderate bumping and chipping at both ends of spine. Moderate sunning on spine. Minor wear and scuffing on both boards. Previous owner's signature on front endpaper. Railway map of England and Wales in front of book with tape on ends. Minor rippling and creasing to corner pages in textblock. Rear hinge cracked exposing mesh.
The author was a German publisher whose company, Baedeker, set the standard for authoritative guidebooks for tourists.
