These are from the Chawton Edition, a limited edition - of which this is number 45 of 1250 sets. Bound in cloth with paper title labels on the spine. Top edges gilt. These volumes measure approximately 8.75" x 5.75", with 225 and 302 numbered pages respectively.

These volumes are in good plus condition. Moderate bumping and tearing to both ends of spine. Minor staining to the boards, most noticeable on the spine.

"Sense and Sensibility" was first published anonymously and later acknowledged to have been written by Jane Austen. This novel tells the story of the Dashwood sisters as they come of age.
