The book is in very good plus condition.The book has illustrated endpapers and gilt top edges of the textblock. Minor wear to the red cloth boards and at the top of the spine. The black lettering and illustrations are bright and fresh. A list of other novels by Spyri is written on one of the first few pages in black ink. The textblock is clean and the illustrations are colorful and vivid.
