The lettering on the spine is faded. The second "C" of the title "Pinocchio" on the front board has been filled in with pencil. Gift inscription on the half-title page is ink. The front board is cracked at the title page. Some scattered soiling throughout the contents. A thin strip of paper is adhered to the rear paste-down and has left a ghosting impression on the endpaper.
