New York: Reynal & Hitchcock, 1946. First edition. Measures 6.75" x 9", 350 pages. 17 full page color illustrations by Mary Shepard. From the jacket flap, likely the first one volume edition of these two titles. Deluxe Children's Edition which has been reset in larger type. The dust jacket is in good plus condition. Large fold and tear on the top of the front panel . Large chip missing from the top of the spine. The book is in very good condition, with just minor wear to the blue cloth boards. No previous ownership marks.
