SIGNED Framed Program Letter Art Movies African Queen
1952. Typed letter signed by Katharine Hepburn, one page, on personal letterhead, n.d., to Dr. Fessenden. The letter reads, "Dear Dr. Fessenden, There is apparently no way to sign the cover of this program. It resists ink. I've done it inside. Thank you for your generous praise, Katharine Hepburn. Framed and matted together with an inscription "For Millard Fessenden, Jr. Katharine Hepburn" (presumably the inside of the program where she indicated she signed it) and a color portrait. The program is from "A Matter of Gravity", a 1976 Broadway play in which Hepburn starred. Size of frame is 17 x 23 inches. A nice piece of memorabilia from one of Hollywood's best actresses.
