Book is in very good minus condition. Gift inscription on the front endpaper reads: "For my Cornell daughter H.F.M from M.M.F May 31, 1977 Ithaca, N.Y." Moderate staining to the boards. Edgewear to the extremities. Small punctured closed tears at the top of pages 3-32.
"The Elements of Style" by William Strunk Jr. is an American English writing style guide. This book was privately published and intended for the use at Cornell University where Strunk worked as a professor of English. The book has been named by Time as one of the 100 best and most influential books written in English since 1923.
