Small octavo [5.5" x 8"], 571 pp. Comes with an original dust jacket from the Literary Guild reprint edition. This is the first issue of the Literary Guild dust jacket with "The Guild Selection For July" written on the front panel. The dust jacket is in very good plus condition. Slight chipping to the edges and flap folds. Minor wear to the rear panel. The flaps are clipped. The book is in very good minus condition. Minor wear and soiling to the boards with lightly sunned spine. The front board is cocked and starting at the hinge. A small area of soiling present across the rear endpaper, ghosting onto the rear flap of the dust jacket. The textblock is clean and bright.
