The set is in very good minus condition. The boards are mostly well preserved with moderate shelf wear. Leather is chipped and torn at the spine ends of some volumes. Previous owner's name in pen (Helen Randall) on the first blank page of three volumes. Bottom half-inch of the the spine of "An Inland Voyage" is nearly detached. The rear board of "St. Ives" is wrinkled and may be water damaged. Additionally the front board is starting to crack.
The 9 volumes include: St. Ives, An Inland Voyage, New Arabian Nights / The Dynamiter, The Wrecker, Kidnapped / David Balfour, Virginibus Puerisque, Merry Men / Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Master of Ballantrae / Poems, Wrong Box / Ebb-Tide.
