Illustrated. The books are in very good condition. The gilt decorations are vivid and intact. Some wear to the boards, most noticeable at the extremities and rear boards. Gathering at page 132 of volume 2 is starting to pull from the binding but is still attached. Otherwise the bindings are sound.
