With an inscription on the front leaf to Elaine Baumann, the recipient of the "First Award" for a submission of a Fairy Tale called "Little Bird" from The Association of Professional Women Writers, Niagara Falls, NY 1938. The book is in good condition. Wear and soiling to the covers with worn edges and exposed corners. The lettering on the spine is illegible with frayed edges and cloth loss at half of the front joint. The mull is exposed at the bottom third of the front hinge. The interior is gently toned and largely clean with a few smudges. The color plates are clear and vibrant. The binding is sound.
