The cloth boards are stained and dicolored at points, including a black stain on the spine near the title. The gilt lettering on the title is bright and complete. Shelf wear to the spine includes some minor cloth loss along the spine and the rear panel at both the top and bottom. A previous owner's stamp is present on the front pastedown and there is writing in pencil on the front endpaper. The text block is slightly toned but aside from occasional minor foxing is bright, clean, and complete. The binding is loose but sound.
