The first volume, "To Wyclif", is 394 pages. The book is in very good minus condition. Some minor staining to the boards, with scratches on the rear board. Shelf wear to the spine with some bumping and scuffing to the corners. The gilt lettering on the spine is bright and clean. Scattered foxing and staining to the edges. A previous owner's bookplate and writing is present on the front pastedown and endpaper. There is offsetting to the front endpapers and pastedowns. The text block is toned but largely bright, clean, and complete. The binding is loose but sound. The second volume, "Wyclif to Renaissance", is 339 pages. The book is in good plus condition. Some minor staining to the boards, with scratches on the rear board. Shelf wear to the spine with some bumping and scuffing to the corners. The gilt lettering on the spine is bright and clean. A previous owner's bookplate and writing is present on the front pastedown and endpaper. Pages 29-32 are torn at the edges in a way that does not affect the text itself. There is offsetting to the front endpapers and pastedowns. The text block is toned but largely bright, clean, and complete. The binding is loose but sound. The third volume, "XIV Century to Surrey", is 309 pages. The book is in very good condition. Some minor staining to the boards, with scratches on the rear board.
