The travel documents of one Dr. Elias Cohen, a noted cancer and medical science researcher, in his sojourn to the Enitewok Atoll in the Pacific to collect Coconut Crab specimens. Cohen was travelling to the area to conduct research on the crabs due to the presence of U.S. military nuclear testing in the area. This item contains a manila folder stuffed with letters, plane tickets, government forms, and photographs of the scenery. It also comes with a study named "A Review of the Ecology of Eniwetok Atoll, Pacific Ocean", by Angus M. Woodbury, Ph. D. at the University of Utah. Most if not all of the documents included are well-preserved with minor defects, if any.
This is a collection of primary documents from one man's fascinating journey to the South Pacific, and includes scientific research, U. S. history, and fascinating memorabilia. It will be a fine addition to any collection.
