Published by Le Veuve Didot in Paris in 1775. 4.75'' x 7.5'', 831 pages. Bound in leather. The book is in poor condition. The binding is nearly split in two and the leather is heavily chipped and worn with pieces missing. The binding cracks on pages 230-31. Bumping and scuffing to the corners. The foxing and staining to the edges, with moisture stains on the top edge. Writing in ink on the front endpapers and pastedown, with a faded ink stamp on the title page. More stamps and writing on the reverse of the title page. The text block is foxed at points but is toned yet bright, clean, and complete. An interesting and very old collectible from pre-revolutionary France. Despite its condition, it is a great collectible and will make a good addition to anybody's bookshelf.
