A souvenir book of photography put out in commemoration of the 10th German Sängerbundfest in 1928. The Sängerbundfest was an independent association that was the world's largest amateur choir association. The book is in good minus condition. The boards are darkened and parts of the cover illustration have been chipped off. Shelf wear to the spine resulting in some cloth loss and bumping and scuffing to the corners. A previous owner's personal stamp is present on the front endpaper. The endpapers and pastedowns are toned but largely clean, with the exception of a few stains. Slight stain on the top edge. There is staining throughout the text block but it largely does not affect the photographs and stays mostly at the edges of the pages. The binding is cracked at pages 16 and 17, 32 and 33, and 48 and 49. An interesting souvenir book that includes beautiful black and white pictures of Old Vienna and pre-World War Two Europe.
