Illustrated throughout with multiple black and white plates, which retain their original tissueguards.
The book is in very good plus condition. The leather is well preserved with vivid embellishments, Minor chipping at the spine. Scattered foxing throughout. The binding is sound.
This collection includes poems by Washington Irving, J. G. Percival, and the first printing of two Henry Wadsworth Longfellow poems: :The Song of the Birds" and "Burial of the Minnisink". A beautiful copy of this collection of early American poetry.
